Respa Inspire Single Shallow Base - 5" Chrome T-Leg

A Respa Single T-Leg divan is a shallower base on slim legs, which together drop the whole bed closer to the floor. This divan bed answers the problem of a standard base plus a deep mattress producing a bed you have to climb into, and it is the most contemporary profile in the Respa Inspire range. Overall height 13 inches The Shallow base has slim chrome legs which changes the character of the base considerably. Chrome tapers to a fine point and gives the bed an almost floating stance, picking up whatever light the room has rather than absorbing it. Reinforced despite the slimmer profile Less depth means less structural material, so the frame has to work harder. Respa divans are reinforced to carry the mattress evenly without flex, which is the part that determines whether a shallow base stays true or slowly develops a dip in the middle. Piping runs the edges by hand. On a shallow base that piped line sits closer to eye level and reads as a defining edge around the bed rather than a detail low down. Choose your fabric and shade from the premium range to match your headboard. Choose the Respa Shallow T-Leg divan if your mattress is deep, if the ceilings are low, or if you want a contemporary low-set look.
