  • Do you assemble beds?

    We are pleased to offer a convenient assembly service on divan beds, adjustable beds and lift and rise recliners

     

  • Which mattress is best for a bad back?

    Lots of people believe a firm mattress is necessary and best for a bad back. What you really need is a supportive mattress. You can then look at different features and tensions to find the best level of comfort and support for you.   • Do you offer credit?

  • What payment methods are accepted?

    We accept all major credit and debit cards via our secure payment gateway. We also use PayPal and accept cash if you come to see us in-store.

  • I have discolouration on my mattress. Is this normal?

    If you have a foam mattress, sometimes there may be yellow discolouration. This is a natural occurrence and will not affect its performance. Sweat can also cause discolouration on a mattress, which is why we recommend you use a mattress protector at all times on your new mattress.

Bedding

  • Can I put a new mattress on an existing base?

    Many manufacturers would recommend that a new base is bought at the same time as a mattress to ensure you get the optimum usage out of your product. If your base is very old, it may not be able to support your new mattress as it should. This in turn may affect your guarantee if you have any issues with it.   • Where do you deliver?

    We deliver to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

  • Can I track my order?

    Yes you can. Once your order has been confirmed we will send you an email with a link to our Order Tracking page so you can monitor your orders progress.

  • My new bed has an odour. Is this normal?

    There may be a residual odour once the wrappings have been removed from your new bed. This is quite normal and not a cause for concern. Please give the mattress time to air. Leave it unwrapped in a well-ventilated room for several hours.

  • Can I try the beds out first?

    Visit our showrooms in Markethill to view and try our huge range of beds or call 028 3755 1260

  • Can you take my old bed away?

    We don’t currently provide this service. Your local Council does though with fees as low as £5

Bed Frames

  • Will my bed or mattress come with a guarantee?

    For your peace of mind, all of our products come with a guarantee, some have a guarantee and an additional warranty period. The length of the guarantee varies from 1 year to 10 years depending on the manufacturer.

Mattresses

  • Is your site secure?

    Yes it is. All the details you send us are encrypted and sent across a secure connection. The little padlock you can see in the top left-hand corner when going through the checkout process means it is secure. Mobility

  • How long will it take me to get used to my new bed or mattress?

    Your old bed is likely to have been worn; the springs and upholstery perhaps not what they used to be. You will therefore need to allow your body time to adjust to your new bed, and time for the fillings to settle. This is called the ‘bedding-in’ period.

    Modern-day fillings are more sumptuous than their predecessors, so settlement may take longer in areas that support the most body weight. This is quite normal. As long as your new mattress is properly supported, you can minimise this with regular turning. It’s similar to plumping pillows on your sofa!

I recently bought a dishwasher - it was delivered very quickly without any issue. There was a problem registering the appliance for warranty; Dalzell's were super - great communication with a 'can do' attitude. Customer service was impressive and they were quick to sort out any snags. I will buy from Dalzell's again without hesitation.

Purchased my complete new kitchen appliances. Service was second to none. All items were held untill ready for installation. Staff brilliant, couldn't be more helpful. Have since purchased pot belly stove and accessories and will continue to shop at such a brilliant store.
