Harrison Mattresses History
Founded in 1889, Harrison Spinks is a family run business renowned for making handmade artisan quality beds and mattresses. Using the finest materials and the latest in bed technology, every Harrison bed is tailored to the individual and can be built to any width, length and height.
A founding member of The Sleep Council, Harrison understands the importance of restful sleep for health and wellbeing. Wherever possible, Harrison uses locally sourced materials in its beds and mattresses and its dedication to crafting beautiful beds extends to establishing its own farm, where the business raises sheep to produce eco wool and grow sustainable crops destined for its mattress fillings.
Harrison's passion for innovation has led to the development of award-winning pocket spring systems that respond to individual body weight to provide superior support and relieve pressure points, all of which contribute to a better night’s sleep.
Incorporating home-grown British wool to the finest Egyptian cotton, mohair and cashmere, Harrison mattresses provide sustainable, recyclable and biodegradable comfort layers in its natural fillings.
Harrison's mattress collection includes its seasonal turn and topped and tailored mattress ranges. Seasonal turn mattresses combine Harrison's innovative Revolution spring systems and natural, breathable layers of high quality fillings with the option of two different sleeping surfaces to help you sleep soundly in temperature-regulated comfort.
The pillow top ranges are turn free mattresses containing a Revolution® spring system which provides individual support. The unique miniature springs in the pillow top alleviate settlement of the natural fillings ensuring that the mattress wraps around you, providing soft, luxurious ‘sleep in’ comfort.
