Evolving through more than 80 years of experience, the superb range of Sherborne Electric Lift & Rise Care Recliners (also known as Riser Recliners) is designed for those who have difficulty getting in and out of conventional furniture. All designs offer the choice of Dual Motor and Single Motor mechanisms.
The Backrest and Footrest can be eased into position independently to reach any desired recline position including a Near-horizontal Full Sleeping Position. The 'intelligent' fifth button can then easily return both the backrest and the footrest together to the Sitting Position. With a Single-use Emergency Back-up Fitted as Standard, and Multi-use Battery Back-up available at extra cost, this recliner is supplied with Castors for ease of movement, or Glides for use on solid flooring.
Four sizes are available on the Lynton, Lynton Knuckled version, Malvern, Windsor and Keswick and three sizes are offered on the popular Comfi-sit design. Most Soft Cover designs have full chaise seating and a generous side pocket is fitted on all 'Lift & Rise' Recliners. What’s more, all designs are fitted with a spring-loaded footrest to reduce the risk of accidental entrapment under the footrest.
