Myers Beds History

Myer’s has been making comfortable, affordable beds for over a century since being founded by Horatio Myers in 1876. In 2007 and 2008 Myer’s integrated with leading bed manufacturers the Hilding Anders Group whose group includes leading brands such as Slumberland, Dunlopillo and Staples Beds and have remained at the forefront of innovative bed design and technology. With a wide range of beds and mattresses including the Myers Royal Charm, Myers Sculpture and Myers Absolute Luxury, Myers has a bed to suit every comfort and support level.

Staying true to its heritage from its early days of designing and manufacturing iron bedsteads to the first divan beds, Myer's continue to innovate using the latest technological advances and materials in their beds and mattresses. A good example of this is in Myer's latest collections the Myer’s Dream Charm and Myer’s Serenity Moment which use Silverdry anti-bacterial technology, ensuring that people enjoy a good night’s sleep in a fresh and clean bed.

Warranty

Myer’s provides a free first year warranty on its mattresses and divans and up to 12 years repair and replacement service at the company’s discretion.

As recommended by the Sleep Council, all Myers bases and mattresses are sold as complete divan sets, ensuring the correct fit and support. For those that prefer firmer support from their mattress, Myers Dream Charm single spring mattress with its deep layer of foam for added support is an ideal solution for back sufferers.

Offering a range of drawer storage options in its beds, Myer’s offers a total solution for every bedroom layout. Its Continental drawer option as seen in its Canberra range with its half width size drawer at the head of the bed provides ample storage and room for bedside tables, making your bedroom look complete.
