Staples Beds have launched a new collection of pocket spring beds and mattresses offering the ultimate in luxurious comfort. One of the key manufacturers of quality, handmade beds in the UK with a long tradition of craftsmanship, Staples have been an active supplier to Royal Households and indeed have procured natural fillings from organic British farms including His Royal Highness Prince Charles’ organic Duchy Home Farm.
This relationship with Royalty stems back to when King George V was advised by his physicians to sleep on a Staples bed due to its superiority in maintaining correct spinal support. Staples Beds received the Royal Warrant in 1932 – regarded as demonstrating excellence and quality – Royal Warrants are highly prized and it has been renewed by successive monarchs ever since. 
Staples Traditional Collection
In its latest collection Staples has combined pocket springs with a variety of natural fillings, including wool, cotton, silk, horse hair and mohair, to create a sumptuous range of sleep products. All Staples divan beds come with optional storage and a choice of Sprung Edge, Platform Top or Ottoman Base in 10 Fabric Options.
The Padded Top Ottoman Divan is Easily Lifted with the Aid of Gas Rams and can be arranged as a Left Hand or Right Hand Opening Divan. The 150cm ottoman divan has 6 times more space than a 2 drawer divan with two internal divan area storage spaces. All Staples mattresses in its Traditional collection are double sided which are suitable for use on bedsteads, and come in a choice of tension – medium or firm.
Staples Shuttleworth
The Staples Shuttleworth Divan Bed is the ultimate in luxurious comfort with a sumptuous 2400 Pocket Springs combined with Layers of Wool, Bamboo, Cotton and Hand Teased Horse Hair to help the mattress stay in shape. This model also boasts the finest layer of Hand Teased Mohair for exquisite natural springing, and is finished with a luxurious Belgian damask top fabric and four rows of traditional hand side stitching for increased stability.
Staples Badmington
Incorporating 1800 Pocket Springs which allow the body to relax in a more natural position by moving individually whilst providing support, the Staples Badmington Divan Bed also benefits from a Luxurious Layer of Wool which acts as a natural spring and provides excellent temperature control, an Added Layer of Bamboo for natural anti-microbial properties and moisture absorbency, and a Natural Cotton Layer for enhanced breathability and moisture control. The Double Sided, Tufted Mattress has Three Rows of Traditional Hand Side Stitching and is suitable for bedsteads.
Staples Arundel
The Staples Arundel Divan Bed combines 1300 Pocket Springs, allowing the body to relax in a more natural position, with a luxurious Layer of Wool for natural spring and a Natural Cotton layer for enhanced breathability and moisture control. Finished with a silky smooth, luxurious Belgian damask top fabric this pocket spring bed has Two Rows of Traditional Hand Side Stitching.
